If you love art, the Renaissance, listening to presentations in English, and fancy receptions with delicious finger food, then do we have a treat for you! Every year in early December the Syracuse University in Florence graduate students present their graduate symposium to the people of Florence. Hold that yawn! The theme of this year’s symposium is virtues and vices in Renaissance art. That’s right, the age-old story of good versus evil…or should we say how to make evil look good. Come watch the five grad students deliver a year’s worth of blood sweat and (at least a few) tears, as they present their master’s theses. The event will take place at 4:00 PM on Thursday, December 6th at the Villa Rossa in Piazza Savonarola. No need to RSVP. All you have to do is show up!
Oh and need we even mention the best part? It’s free!
